# Introduction to Product Sections

### Why it exists

Customers want to know how shipping works and what happens if something goes wrong before they buy. Most stores put this on separate policy pages that few people open. Rules also differ by country: a US customer and an EU customer have different rights.

Product Sections shows this information on every product page, in tabs, with the part that applies to the visitor's country.

### How it works

- **Shipping Information** and **Returns & Replacements** tabs are added to every product. You write the text once.
- The text can use **placeholders** such as `{{processing_time}}` or `{{delivery_date_range}}`, filled in for each product and visitor.
- Returns & Replacements has **US, UK and EU appendices**. Only the one that matches the visitor's delivery country is shown.
- **Content sets** let product types with different policies use different texts, for example in-stock sneakers next to made-to-order T-shirts.
- WooCommerce's **Description** tab is renamed (to *Story* by default), and you can set the title and order of every tab.

The same module also contains [Hook Blocks](/docs/introduction-to-hook-blocks/).

**Where:** cPOD Kit → Product Sections. The bar at the top has Hook Blocks, Shipping Information, Returns & Replacements, Content sets and Settings.
