# Introduction to Size Chart

### Why it exists

"Which size should I order?" is one of the most common questions in a clothing store, and wrong sizes are a frequent reason for returns. POD stores sell the same blanks across hundreds of designs, so adding a size guide to each product by hand is slow and easy to get wrong.

Size Chart lets you build each size guide once and show it automatically on every product that needs it.

### How it works

1. **You build a chart** in a table editor: start from a template or paste from a spreadsheet, and mark which columns are measurements.
2. **You assign it** to categories or tags, to single products, or to a Product Profile.
3. **cPOD Kit picks the right chart** for each product, in this order: product → child category → parent category → tag.
4. **Customers see it** as a popup from a *Size guide* button, as a product tab, or both, and can switch between cm and inch.

### What you can do

- Templates for T-shirts, pants, women's tops and shoes
- Several tables in one chart, with a measuring guide image and notes
- cm / inch switch, sticky first column and header row on long tables
- Popup that works with any theme, or the Flatsome lightbox
- Shortcodes to place the button or the chart anywhere
