Why it exists #
Stores often need a small piece of content in a fixed place: trust badges under Add to cart, a shipping notice on the cart page, a banner above the shop list, a message on the thank-you page. Doing this usually means editing theme files, adding code snippets, or installing one more plugin for each spot.
Hook Blocks lets you do it from one screen, with rules for where and on which devices each block shows.
How it works #
WooCommerce and WordPress have named places in each page, called hooks, where content can be added: below the price, above the cart totals, in the footer, and so on. A hook block is:
- Content: a shortcode, some HTML, or a Flatsome UX Block.
- Page: which pages it appears on (all products, some categories, the cart, every page…).
- Hook point: the place on that page.
- Order and device: its position among other blocks at the same place, and whether it shows on computers, phones or both.
Hook Blocks is part of the Product Sections module.
